KamisatoElias: I think fashion can do with a reality check sometimes. We get so caught up in quality and design we lose touch with what actually matters. It’s just a tshirt that resembles my £3 primark one. The idea of a “perfect tshirt” or garment I think just makes fashion unnecessarily expensive and complicated.
derTJAY: We have a couple of extremely high quality clothing manufactures here in Germany. Worth checking out. There are two jeans companies, called Rutloff and Blaumann, that produce pants on par to Japanese jeans. Pike Brothers is another brand that comes to mind. These companies often focus on heritage style clothing.

There are professionals dedicated specifically to clothing and costumes. They have the time, resources, and expertise to make anything fit perfectly on anyone—something that’s nearly impossible for a regular person to replicate on their own.
Also, that "distressed" look you see in clothes on screen is carefully crafted. It’s artificial. Don’t think the same clothes will look like that after real wear—absorbing humidity, sweat, and the mess of everyday life.
And let’s be real—when it comes to a T-shirt, no matter how well it’s made, you’re paying for the vibe, not the actual value. Don’t let YouTubers or a TV show fool you into thinking otherwise. Don’t be a sheep. I have a set of t-shirts from River Island bough 5EUR each and they are still doing great nowadays after 6 years of daily use.

sammyb1651: The real issue (which isn't immediately apparent and hasn't been covered by any YouTuber I've seen) is that they run too narrow through the shoulders. Because of this sizing down doesn't provide the solution it normally does. If you go down to an M you are going to feel very restricted through the shoulders.

Nicholas-V: You might really like the fit of Pure Blue Japan's Crew Neck T-shirt. I'm also a true medium and their size 4 gives a perfect slim fit without being too tight.
They've also got a lot of interesting colors like pre-dyed indigo and overdyed with black.

mickbohannon1104: I live in Seoul and lately I found myself enjoying Musinsa clothes. Tshirts fit and feel similar to Uniqlo but with a slightly different approach. A little less "picnic" and a bit more "downtown strolling"
